Square and Round Dancer Instructors Association of Alberta

The Square and Round Dance Instructors Association of Alberta (SRDIAA) is a provincial body that meets in Red Deer three times each year -- 3rd Sunday in September, 4th Sunday in January, 4th Sunday in May -- for leader education, exchange of ideas, and discussion of topics of interest. Each meeting includes an afternoon workshop designed to help leaders develop their craft; the September meeting features a 1.5 day clinic.

The Association puts on an Autumn Dance in Red Deer. This dance, along with the September clinic, alternates annually between local leaders and an out-of-province caller (finances permitting). The Association also hosts a biennial Caller School for callers of all levels.
